Meet owners Scott and Lisa
We are both retired teachers; Lisa taught in Indianola for 36 years, and Scott taught for 20 years in West Des Moines. For years, Lisa had driven by the white brick building at 201 E. Salem Avenue and dreamed of buying it and starting a business. That dream came true in 2018 when we bought the building, rolled up our sleeves, and started the demo work. (We quickly discovered that "demo day" is not nearly as fun as it looks on HGTV.) Our aim was to create a welcoming space for people to gather to celebrate life's big events.
Together, we bring over 25 years experience in planning and working weddings. We are passionate about sharing that knowledge with couples. Our goal is simple - to help you create the event of your dreams while keeping it organized, enjoyable, and at a reasonable cost. With experience, dedication, and heart, we're here to make your vision come to life!
